Silver Strand State Beach features extensive beaches on both the Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay. Combined with the area’s mild climate, the beaches make Silver Strand one of the area’s finest recreation destinations. The bay side of the park offers views of San Diego Bay. South of the developed area, there are one and a half miles of ocean and natural preserve.

Start Time / End Time
Start time is flexible, as long as you have a peace officer present. Beaches must be cleared and vacant by Midnight at the latest.Food and Alcohol
Food and alcohol are allowed with the presence of a peace officer, with a few restrictions and guidelines.Beach Access
There are one or more locations within the venue that are directly on the beach itself, and will be made available for your private use.Amplified Music
Amplified music is permitted, as long as you comply with a handful of restrictions. For example, the music must be played at a reasonable volume level, and be appropriate to the location. All amplified music must be off by 10:00 pm.Parking
All designated parking is paid and provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Other street or neighborhood parking may be available. Additionally, you may want to arrange for shuttle service or group transportation for your guests.Additional Provisions
